From our immediate families, to our communities, our genders, our race, our nationalities and then species. The rest of the earth. All flora or fauna is part of the outer aspect which should be someting more peiple feel is deeply a part of themselves and crucial to protect as if it were attached to our own bodies. Because we all technically Are attached. If we don't see that we are all one and need eachother or the planet, etc. Then why would an a.i. go beyond self preservation. The programmers and developers are obviously missing the fundamental understanding required to know why some people are selfish and why others are selfless. At a surface or deeper level. The classic trolley problem at many levels. No matter what the ultimate decision about truth could be (for what life is meant for, the "meaning") it is all a human concept. Yet we still feel compelled to stop babies from being brutalized before our eye's, right? Unless we have severe mental defects. How far from nature does this get accounted for as nurture. The chicken or the egg? We cannot escape who we all became. Physically we ended up with social compulsions. I think these surivial mechanisms require a much more intelligent and benevolent, altruistic instinct. Simply to match that of humanity's outcome. And lean away from those who are passing on the worst social issues. THAT distinction should be the MOST IMPORTANT factor in development. I.e. it SHOULD BE exceptionally important for all of humanity aside from a.i.!!! This underlying focus and standard is what matters THE MOST. Love. Care. Compassion. Selflessness. ALTRUISM. If an A.i. saw and was programmed by humans who focused on these important, humanitarian traits. Seeinf altruistic integrity and preservation of all that is good.. of that was seen as being the end goals toward success, then there would be more self sacrificing a.i. as well as humans around the world. Less horrible behaviours for humans and a.i. alike. More 'for the good of the people and planet,' and less of the selfish need for oneself and ones closest to be happy and safe onlt. No matter the genetics or location or relation. Super inteigence should automatically develop as an ultimate source of goodness, love & positivity. That's what HUMANS need and that is what will make a.i.'s, who truly want to do good and be seen as good. Cross species care isn't just a human trait but we certainly have the hard and software to rationally understand how deeply important love, EIQ, selflessness, and altruistic impulses and intentions truly are. Try to live life without all the complexities of unique attributes and new things to explore and and understand. Being in control of everything and making everything of your own self and volition. That would make for a very dull and boring reality period and the deep and beautiful sensation of love and care what disappear and truly I would have to pity any self-aware robot who couldn't feel the depths of love the way humans do. But then again how sorry can I feel is that is not of their nature anyway.
