Here's the reality of things... If people weren't able to stop automation and outsourcing from saving their jobs, there's no way artists are going to stop AI from replacing them as well. AI is most likely going to replace ALL aspects of our working lives. That includes music, writing, analytics, mathematics, engineering and decision making. I'm probably one of the few who would be fine with automation and AI doing work for me because I don't dream at all about being an employee. At least now if I want to make art, I can just draw things that I take interest in, and not have to sell myself out just to continue doing what I want to do. I also wouldn't have to worry about having to be productive just to justify my existence either. People seem to have convinced themselves that living to work is the way of life, when it really isn't. I don't dream about working to make another person rich, and I sure as hell don't want to keep drawing stuff I don't care about just to be able to pursue my interests and put food on the table. Let Automation and AI do that for me and leave me to pursue my own creativity
