Medicine has for a long time had a highly regulated, economically fixed market, with traditional or informal practitioners regulated out. From the IMF studies it is clear that the medical community has used various methods to reduce the impact of AI.
At the more professional, higher risk areas, AI will have little impact, even if it gets most answers right.
But at the lower more personal level, it will have high effectiveness. As people become more acquainted with the success of home test equipment coupled with AI for general treatment, taking more of their general health care into their own hands.
