There is no possible way to know is anything is sentient. We are human, we know that we are sentient from personal experience, so we can say that all other humans are sentient with relative certainty.
We can say, we are living creatures. So maybe some other living creatures are sentient. Like dolphins, dogs, and chimps, etc.
But there is NO current way to know if an AI is sentient.
This AI was created to mimic human responses so accurate that they seem human. They have succeeded. But it’s very misleading to tell people it is sentient. Nobody can currently prove that.
