Ideally we'd end up with carmichaelits' concept of the future, but I think it's up to us all whether we get egalitarian utopia or Elysium dystopian society. I might be pouring fuel on the flames here, but when it comes to an ethical argument we must come to a consensus and then stick to it like with stem cells. The consensus there is it's more moral not to use embryonic ones, so labs are moving (at varying rates) away from it. We must move with similar group momentum towards AI moral consensus.
