I think this is an incorrect take. The long term is robotaxi's being 5x cheaper than current Uber/Lyft. At this level, it would indeed be cheaper to use these for all drives vs owning your own car. Then you wouldn't need your own Self-driving car, so far less parking needed, even if you didn't share Self-driving cars. More traffic though
