AI LLMs are just a tool, not a person. It's just a probability machine for language.
I think this case is heartbreaking because it should be preventable.
No social media or AI access to anyone under 18. Teach people what the algorithms do, what they are and how they can mislead.
Educate about AI. ChatGPT will provide positive feedback loops for your prompts, which is what happened here.
