The problem isn't AI, Deep Fakes, or Telegram. The problem is the lack of long lasting consequences to their actions. If a person contemplates the risk of a committing a crime and realize that at the end of the day they have a bright future ahead of them, then it almost feels like there is no risk. It seems like being in a society where education is so emphasized and these type of crimes are downplayed then it becomes a breeding ground for morally corrupted people to be in a position of authority and power. Then the cycle continues.
