I like the sentiment that the masterpiece is the artist themselves. I'm going to carry that with me. Looking back, I definitely have refined myself and my ideas through all my years of writing, roleplaying, and reading new books.
Side note, the only thing I really use AI for is drafting ideas for my Pathfinder game. Making up random dungeons is very slow for me, but once I get an idea for one, I can twist it to make it fit the narrative and refine the basic ideas into something that I like. I took the idea of an elementally-shifting dungeon boss and a chaotic, warping dungeon and refined it into an elemental library with puzzles based on what is weak to what and a boss with puzzle mechanics the AI didn't even touch on. It still took a lot of effort and I refined my process and learned how to better do the parts I need to do myself, but I didn't sit there staring a blank page for hours.
