Corporations won't invest billions in AI so that they can employ humans. We all know what 'restructuring' means - layoffs and executive bonuses for the geniuses who decided that they needed to restructure. Shareholders adore restructuring - phrases like 'trim the fat' and 'explore new synergies with a leaner workforce' are a guaranteed spike in share price. Interesting times ahead.
