The data centers built near my neighborhood keep me up at night with their droning hum. They also caused our water and energy prices to explode. They knocked down several nice neighborhoods to build them, while causing everyone's property taxes to go so high, many people had to sell at a loss and move out. Many of those houses were purchased and never moved into, then they were knocked down and now more data centers are being built in their place.
Meanwhile, we are losing our jobs to AI while subsidizing these stupid AI data centers through utilities and taxes. I constantly worry I will have no job and no where to live within the next few years.
