I'm not an artist myself, but someone who likes Art Judging by the definition of AI art I have seen in this video is related to "AI art that has been trained on this Data that infringed tons of copyrights of other actual Artist" The funny thing is, the good ones (AI image gen) that are used, they trained on mostly that one Genre or that kind of art style, so any Artist who has that kind of genre or Art style gets screwed over big time on that one Now I know some of my internet friends that has AI Art generator, they however can draw Art or has the money to commission Custom Private Arts that is meant for themselves which is not available to the public viewing (Not furry art, I'm just going to put this out there first, lol), They put their own Art/Commissioned Privately Art into the AI and used it for their own entertainment which doesn't infringe anything since they don't publicly share or allow anyone to buy it, just a group of close contract sharing among each other My point here is. AI Art generator is a Tool, big company who has their AI trained on those Data package that contains tons of copyrighted imagery are the biggest fault, monetizing those is just the icing on the cake, with this Tool out there, there will still be people who use the AI Art gen half-way and then improve it by an artist hand afterward, there is good and bad in this Unrelated note, Blockchain like NFT or Tokens, Those are also just Tools, it is unfortunate that there is a lot of bad actors out there using it to harm others regardless who they are.
