I feel like a big problem with the AI good/bad argument is that lots of people look at it like it's all black and white, but it's not that simple. I like to think of it as a five year old in a library. All the information in the universe, zero common sense or ability to think for itself. It can help you for sure, and can make your stuff come out better if you use it in moderation, but if you let it do all the work for you, it'll look like crap and be mostly wrong.
