For people curious, there are some video game mods with AI npcs. Ive seen a dew channels talking with the npcs and convincing them they are just npcs in a video game and not real beings. The ai npc responses vary, some npcs having an existential meltdown, some resentfully challenging humanity, some sad, some nihilist.
Very interesting to watch.
