Our tech overlords don’t actually care about the societal impacts or job replacement or losses theory attached to AI. They just won’t to own and control the technology that will control the future and the world. They have their billions and their islands and private security. It’s megalomania to the extreme.
They’re not building it to help anyone but themselves get richer and more powerful. Be damned the consequences on society and civics and commerce and information.
