Algorithmic bias is a real threat but if the cops can overcome that then fair play. But I'm kind of worried that they won't bother too much to try to overcome that bias, they'll just accept it. But done right, I'd argue that using algorithms could actually reduce the inherent bias to the system. It all depends on the execution.
