Few inputs, some are picky.
1. You said 'if you ask for Star Wars, you get Star Wars' which is what you asked for. You need to give AI the instructions to use it as inspiration for it to do so. AI in it's most accessible form is not built to think like humans, it won't use inspiration as a factor unless you tell it to do so and even then, it will use varying degrees because it's not specified on how heavy it should be.
2. For the people saying that it helps disabled artists, there is nuance. They do not need to do activism activities for disabled to be able to speak on it, but you are right that talking to them is needed, which I agree with. Simply looking at statistics and sheets does not give you the truth always.
3. A lot of AI art is free. CoPilot, Gemini, Grok and so on cost nothing for basic image generation, it's also not just money people are talking about in terms of cost, it's also time and emotional strength. Some people just have horrible proficiency for art and would rather have something they can look at and have memories or feelings from seeing it rather than spending ages and ages to practice and getting nothing or shelling out hundreds of dollars for something they can't afford, feel like it's someone else's life imprinted on what they want and so on. There is also the argument for games and factions. Why should someone have to shell out hundreds for a banner, flag, logo, emblem, insignia or whatever, just for something meant to be fun and to invoke recognition or feelings at superficial levels, like hope at seeing a faction's banner who is known for benevolence or dread of a faction infamous for piracy?
4. The Apple ads are cringe, you are right there. Apple is using Gemini in the worst possible way for their adds, I don't even know if the Sales Rep or Marketing team were present for the meeting on said ad, and Spotify's AI ads also suck with repeated 'last chance' ads that show up once every few weeks. But AI being used in health care is a good thing since it can double check with similar cases quickly, help cross-reference symptoms and help medical staff when they forget something. There is always once in a field as advanced as medicine where you forget something, even if briefly.
5. NFTs were dumb little fixtures you bought, and it was just destined to fail. NFTs also do not have the utility as AI because they were useless outside of being pictures or small buyable units in games, worst idea I have ever seen for games imo, but AI is meant to augment, not subsidize.
