Currently we do no have "AI", what we do have is an algorithm, a non-learning program, not what people think of as "AI". Today it's nothing more than a meme or a idea to describe this new program of speech, writing and art. We are so far away from actual AI, so far that we need even the basic of quantum systems and even then it will still be difficult to adapt to our (human) programing. What we should have is a set of rules before things get out of hand, something created to ensure that AI does not harm or inhibit human civilization.
