I'm a traditional artist, but to me it has become evident there's no way to stop AI. Specific laws can easily be bypassed by the technology, because it is still so new, and there are so many techniques to go about achieving the same things. Larger and broader laws would damage individual artists just as much, if not more, with limiting copyright.
Stable Diffusion is out. Everyday I see dozens of new models published. It's open source. Anyone can use it. Of the US makes it somehow illegal companies will simply hire cheaper/faster freelancers and not ask questions.
AI is likely to affect most jobs, though not at the same time. It'll be a different world. Who knows, with a bit of luck it may just become a good one.
