your not being undermined by foreigners, and automated trucks. your being undermined by greed ! corporate greed ! and political greed ! all of this tech is the result of backroom donations and backroom deal making to change laws and regulations to undermine your pay and livelihood in this country ! i am not worried as I am 61 now. I think they will come , but I don't think it will be as fast as people think in scale. a good record in testing doesn't relate to a good record in actual production and actual use in real world. . and a few good lawsuits I think will dampen the speed at which this tech is implemented . plus the cost to build these trucks, and even the infrastructure for the fully electric , yes they can make the trucks , but how can they charge them ? no infrastructure yet ! and I think the major backlash will come from single small cities and counties that will implement laws that ban them from operating in their respective cities and counties !
