I think something I hate so much about this god-forsaken generative ai "boom" is that it's throwing so much flack and detriment to the sides of artificial intelligence that CAN be useful, such as algorithms that can analysis masses of data we wouldn't be able to do in feasible time or detecting things we might not notice. THAT is the ai that I support, especially as both an artist and someone in the computer science field (I cannot explain the hatred I have for gen ai. it enrages me to a degree I can barely handle and I am so glad nightshade continues to protect artists alike from ai tech bro thieves)
