Walmart has been using facial recognition in its stores for a little while. Walmart knows who you are because when you check out you give them your information through debit or credit cards. Walmart knows everything you buy. Walmart knows who you talk to in their stores. Walmart calls it inventory control and anti- theft, but I am sure it goes so much further. When you go in some of their store there are huge tv screens that are linked to video cameras showing the people coming in & out, look for the boxes around the faces....AI working its magic.
