I support AI art being copyright free, or rather, impossible to use for commercial purposes. As an artist I think AI is a great tool for inspiration, and as an average man I enjoy it as a form of entertainment. However I think a tool that creates things using the works of others without their permission, should not be allowed to have those creations monetized in any form. I think the most reasonable way of monetizing AI would be for AI to create Opt-in artist pack subscriptions that pay royalties to the artists that have allowed their works to be used by the AI, this would be an ethical and trackable way of using an artists work for someone wanting to use AI generations for commercial purposes.
