The difficulty is that consciousness does not reside in brains. Consciousness is rooted in your soul which exists in the Spiritual Realm. Your brain is the interface and filter between your soul and your current body in the Physical Earthly Realm. When your body dies you go back to the Spiritual Realm. Until an AI can actually connect with a soul in the Spiritual Realm, it will only stimulate consciousness. Will it love? Will it connect with God/Buddah/Allah or whatever you call our creator, Infinite Mind?
