Ultimately automation is the future or humanity. It’s hard to admit as an artist that what I do can and will be automated one day but so will almost every job. Hopefully we won’t end up like the people in Wall-E but automating everything will make goods and services so cheap that we all have nothing but free time to do our hobbies,,, including art. Even if we’re not being paid for it eventually. How the world will work financially who knows but ultimately it has to be a good thing for us in the long long term.
