Great video and love the channel however, AI driver is steering us to a conclusion based on partial facts and I suspect he knows this. I absolutely love my Tesla Model 3 dual motor. Never going back to gas engines for my daily driver. For long vacations I subscribe to FSD for interstate trips. I still use gas for my MINI Cooper at the race track though 😊. Having said that I find it strange the Tesla neural network can't tell the difference between when torque applied to the wheel is generated by the driver or FSD. I suspect in all actuality the data exists but either didn't make it to AI Driver, he didn't know how to interpret it or ignored it completely. Telemetry graphs are fantastic but there are also logs that need to be reviewed. Thousands of logs are recorded to indicate why Tesla's neural network makes a decision and what the cameras and sensors recorded. How about brake and throttle positions? Was the accelerator or brake applied at all by either the driver or FSD? Emergency braking is independent of FSD. If the car is proceeding down the street under the command of the driver , emergency braking remains active in case a child dashes in front or any object is detected. Incoming cars are also responded to by a Tesla where it can apply brakes or even steer the car to avoid collision. But it's far from perfect. Where I work there is an intersection where every single time when a car is headed in my direction FSD will ignore my red light. FSD will ignore both the red light and the incoming car. It happened so often that I disengage autopilot on that section. AI Driver is assuming FSD is perfect and that is far from the truth. Remember phantom braking? I've had mine since 2022 I still get phantom braking. Just cruising along on the open highway three or four lanes wide open, hand gently on the wheel when the car brake for no reason. No cross traffic, no deer and no alerts. Every single owner of Tesla with FSD has experienced this. The analysis provided is far from complete.
