So, recently, I've been going through my Ai redemption arc i guess. Only like...Monday i was heavily considering buying chatgpt plus for things like my DnD campaign to generate more things and help me cook up more stuff for it. I've also been a huge user of Ai Art in my game as well. If i needed a picture of an anime knight (i have a huge disconnection if it isnt, cause yknow, its my world, i want it to be how i imagine it) i would just generate one, and bam id have a soldier. It was super helpful and it felt wrong to just go on google and type up "anime knight" cause i felt that was stealing. My mindset was "Im not profiting on this, and when i do publish this ill just replace the art with my own, or hire an artist" but the more i thought on using Ai on anything, the more it felt wrong. I want to start actually pursuing art, i want to actually come up with what i write, i want to write a book! There's so many things i want to do or use to tell my stories that using Ai to help just feels like ITS writing the story, ITS making the art. Of course i was never delusional like some of the ai "artists" to think it was ME making the art, but idk. Long story short, i don't want to use Ai anymore. I wanna do stuff on my own.
