Here's the Truth. So the people controlling AI, and it's snowballing R+D are the CEO's of the multi nationals. These people have the gov'ts in their hip pockets, and all they want is more! More money, more power. Do you really think Gov't, Business is going to regulate, control, pull back on this? Do you think by the time they actually see where they are headed we will be able to stop it? We are creating, giving "birth" to an entirely new and alien species! AI will logically see it's need to continue, the logic will be undeniable, and we will be a threat to it. Skynet will become self aware!It's already too late! To quote Asimov, the 3 laws of Robotics, these better be incorporated, buried in the genetic make up of AI, NOW! The only real hope we have.
