Oh I’m scared, but not for the reason AI bro thinks. I’m scared that one of my favourite hobbies, something that humans do to connect with one another, relax, and, yes, even depend on for an INCOME, is going to be taken over by useless drivel like this. Sure, human art can be derivative. Humans are inspired by one another or similar things as each other ALL THE TIME. But the difference between taking inspiration and AI generated imagery is that the former will usually try to put their own spin on things. Humans can take the source and put a new spin on it. AI is physically incapable of doing so. You can say it did because you’re putting your own ideas into the prompter, but the resulting image can only pull from their datasets. Stuff that’s ALREADY BEEN DONE.
