Every major revolution had downsides but were essential steps in progress.
People turn their nose up at India with their pollution levels.. But really they're doing what western world did but 50 years behind.
Digital revolution :Social media has a lot of downsides but we're able to watch things like this spreading knowledge.
AI will disrupt our economy for sure but could cure every disease and solve climate/energy crisis.
I'm not an AI optimist. I think we need this for our long term survival. At some point our sun will die or maybe a wondering black hole will destroy our solar system in a 100 years. We need all the intelligence we can get.
