I'm looking up old articles and interviews and Yang's early points were self driving and general automation in 2017. I don't see anything AI specific and definitely nothing about LLMs. Unless I find evidence of his claims, this sounds a little revisionist for him to say he blasting the horn on the dangers of AI specifically as far back as 2017.
