I speak to ALL sorts of people, all over the country about AI, and one of the things that blows my mind is this: AI IS going to replace jobs.... it just will. There is no getting around that fact. It will happen. Let's take good sized industry, and throw AI & Robotics into the mix... shall we. There are over 2 million over the road truck drivers in the US. Good Job. Takes special people to do it, and although it can be kind of monotonous, it DOES require a specialty. Now... replace all of those drivers with robots and AI. What happens to those drivers? Now... most people will just say, "Well, they'll just have to retrain." But what if they can't. What are you going to do with 2 million people who have lost their jobs because of AI?
