Why don’t you guys have that same smoke when AI is threatening to replace software developers? Where is that energy when manufacturing professionals are being swapped out for robots and AI because they’re “faster”?
I find a lot of these musicians hypocritical. It’s fine when AI and automation wipe out jobs in other industries and people lose their ability to provide for their families. But when it touches music or the arts, suddenly it’s a problem.
I say deal with it—just like the rest of us professionals in other industries have had to. Compete.
