Everyone keeps asking how we protect jobs from AI.
Maybe the better question is this… why are we still training people for jobs that can be automated?
AI will absolutely replace repetitive admin, entry-level analysis, and predictable tasks. That is reality. But it cannot replace judgment, accountability, hands-on skill or leadership. It cannot crawl under a floor, diagnose a complex system fault in real time or build trust with a client standing in front of you.
The problem is not AI. The problem is stagnation.
If we keep teaching young people theory without practical skills, and ignore apprenticeships and vocational routes, then yes, AI becomes a threat.
But if we combine technical mastery with digital literacy, AI becomes leverage. It removes friction and allows professionals to operate at a higher level.
The future is not humans versus AI. It is humans who adapt, not those who do not.
We should be building a generation that can use AI, not fear it. That starts with reforming how we connect education to real industry.
Curious to hear what others think.
