I am studying industrial hygiene and safety engineering. I have been reading a lot, but I failed a major exam. So, I bought another several books off the syllabus about Safety Management. I didn't much of these books, but I found 6 questions in the first few chapters of this one book and a standard appears. This standard was talked about at length as "Management Practices" or "Safety Economics", but none of the books I read had the standard name written. The last books on the syllabus had the information I needed. This is a lesson in thoroughness. Every last word, even though it is 2,000 pages I will be complete and ready to retake the exam. I always need to read every last word and even re-read a textbook. I do it and I'm successful, because I keep at it not because I am a genius. I follow basic directions and I am thorough. At 54 I am relearning this lesson.
AI will be good for some applications, but not to waste time and become weak because your scholarly work is done by a computer. I like to read several different authors and check their research before I will believe a history I've read. I dig and dig and look to triangulate information to ensure my information is clear, concise, correct and complete.
