I think those who go after artists for not liking AI do so because they know what they are doing is unethical. They want to use the technology without feeling it's wrong or that it's potentially hurting others. They want to see their images and feel accomplishment for zero effort in learning the craft. People are Aholes when they feel defensive. They act smug because they really know the truth...and hurting others makes them feel bigger. Generating AI art doesn't make anyone an artist. It makes them creative director... but not an artist.
