I thought this exact thing (the title of this video) yesterday. But, so I don't retread the video topic (I hope), my train of thought also landed on how stupid it is for so many companies to develop AI content creation. If anyone with access to the software (which will eventually be everyone) can crank out a passable script, image, or entire movie, then why would we need the big publishing companies? In other words, if you cut out the creatives, talent and ground floor workers, then what are managers to do, what are executives getting paid for? Why would anyone pay money for YOUR movie, game or book? You've offloaded and democratized your leverage -- the people who make your offerings unique. Executives who have been pretending that the work of creatives is worthless have begun to believe their own lies and are inadvertently trying very hard to actually make it so.
