I think companies are using AI as an excuse to build huge data centers. Later, these same centers can easily be turned into cloud services. When memory and computing become too expensive for normal users, they will push everyone into subscription models. Over time, people won’t have a real choice and will be forced to depend on these platforms. This looks like a long-term plan not just about AI innovation.
