The show "altered carbon" covers this topic of conditive uploading. It is a copy, replica, not you. Agreed.
People will trust people over AI. This will hold. Influencing will remain but there must be regulations put on deep fakes.
A intelligence which can cause physical influence is what is concerning.
Without humans, there is no need for AI.
Humans are on a quest for the ultimate intelligence. Technology is subject to the limitations of its creator. Since we (humans) do not know everything, thus we are hoping that the tools we create will figure this out for us. My bet is against success of this happening.
