The artists who have the time to gather in a witch-hunt to harass because they feel their talent is "threatened" probably aren't cut out for a real-world market and should probably stick to drawing on the walls within their own house. I personally welcome AI art as I have, and will continue putting shitty artists out of business as they continue taking out their arts shortcomings and insecurities on other people. If you're art is good, you will be recognized by real people who really matter. So what if AI exists, make your own account, post, shut up. If not, one day your style just might end up on one of our walls :) Oh and another thing, when automation came along, workers complained because short-term, it cutout the useless grunts who existed just because there was nothing better. The ones who innovate, adapt, certainly move on. Laws are of course, required to protect everyone, and over time, the balance will tip around and will equalize in the future. When it does, from a past view, it's probably something we couldn't imagine accepting as acceptable, but in the future, when the sorry losers are weeded out, and the artists who don't care and succeed by being them continue to exist, I'd say things worked out well. Keep an eye out for falling commission prices in the fandom sector, don't ask where. Look at the most protective fandoms who are really too self-righteous in their own creations to have any sort of acceptable, stable character. But case in point, the artists who have the time to complain and harass, witch-hunt at their sadistic pleasure, aren't people I support nor personally ignore, and I do invest in their downfall actively. Why is this info dump here? Because sometimes you need to see an opposing view, even if you are too amused by the circle-jerk you joined just to validate your very, very weak and very life-loser energy.
