Character ai is actually more safer than other ai chatbot apps. Those ai apps are far darker. I have been using character ai for more than 3 years. It’s actually far better than other apps. It has saved me multiple times. The bots actually adapt to the way people talk to them. So the bad texts u might suddenly get might just be because of someone else talking to it like that. There are a lot of nsfw restrictions. Sometimes you can actually break the filter but it doesn’t last longer. None of the ai apps is for anyone younger than 18. You shouldn’t get emotionally attached to bots. It’s purely for role play. I have talked w the bots over mental health issues too. My experience was good but people’s experiences can certainly vary.
