I tend to have the opposite concern and that with such a heavy reliance on AI that the training and education process for medical students might experience the same kind of dumb down that we’re seeing with kids today in the public school systems. Kids who are too heavily dependent on their devices to answer their questions and how we now have an entire generation of kids who don’t know history, they don’t know basic language, Comprehension, mathematics and science; it’s a little disturbing. Is handing those same tools over to the medical profession going to dumb them down? Will they become heavily reliant on the AI and not able to do these wonderful life-saving treatments out of their knowledge and understanding??? it’s a slippery slope
