fake artists will defend their decision because it makes making art easy. an opt in model would be great. Any artist permitting their style and art to be used for training AI should be paid, and paid well. These companies are profiting with no actual investment and off of theft. Ai is here to stay, and it can be an amazing tool but we shouldn't let it be built off theft. Photoshop revolutionized the art industry, and there was push back against it. HOWEVER, they weren't stealing from artists. Just adding a new tool.
