Many of us are deeply mired in our reptilian brains, how can paying us universal incomes help to get us out of these reptilian brains? The idea of making us work for a living is to force us to activate the advance brain through discipline, skill training and character building. Civilizations and AI are supposed to help us do that. So it is not readily perceptible to me how paying us for not doing any work can help us solve this problem, unless all of us engage in some kind of spiritual training while AI takes care of our needs for sustenance and security.
