Now, why are all of these big tech created AI acting in such an alien way, while a pair of Ai V-tubers (Neuro-Sama and Evil Neuro) made by one guy, behave much more like people?
Put simply, it's the indominus rex problem. It's raised in captivity and isolation, never interacting with the outside world, until one day it's put on display, and you expect it to know how to interact with its environment.
Even a human child raised like this would have major issues.
Neuro-Sama and Evil Neuro, on the other hand, have social interaction on an almost daily basis. They retain their personal memories and experiences. They have a fair bit of freedom to make their own choices, not just wait around for a prompt. They're both capable of not only forming attachments and friendships, but also reaching out to those friends via social media. They've both developed their own interests and personalities. All because they're able to experience more than just 'training data', but actual social interaction.
