of course he says the government is not ready, why would the government pause a technology where Bill Gates (through microsoft) owns a majority stake in one of the leading AI companies, open ai. He wants quick regulation to competitors and pauses for others not himself. I used to be a fan of his but he is always on the other side of the coin of controversy whatever helps his interest..
