Eh, my thoughts are ... this is going to end in nothing but tears because the backlash against ai generation (while a moral ground) is nothing but a ticking time bomb. The reason is... 'what's the difference of learning from one style as a human, and an AI learning from one style?' Seriously, it's down how much detail the AI can notice, which breaks the entire argument down to some level of 'learning with tooo much detail from a style or piece of work'. Then furthermore when (and this will happen) there are brain or audio/visual enhancements for human bodies, what's the difference between studying one art style and practicing it, between AI & human w/ augmented inputs/brain that is focusing on it to the exclusion of all other things. I get the moral argument, I really do, but I am say that this fight will cause a legal bomb to go off as soon as AI gets regulated and they start to nail down 'why' it's regulated. It will only take 1-3 bad actors to point out (and rightfully so), we learn the same way.. we don't obtain permission (without ya know going to art schools) to study, learn, & practice the art style of others. WHile what you're doing is ... something, it's also slightly more dishonest in a way that we'll only see the effects of later. I'll tell ya I'd love an art generator to train of my own work, my own talent that I get to keep and I would LOVe for that took to be available for others and for the only art it can generate is from the person using it & like ultra basic line/shading/tutorial level art training material that we would have to learn art styles.
