Remember that what we currently call "AI" is not really intelligent in any meaningful way... These LLM based generative AI systems do not understand the content they are writing about at all - not a shred of it. And sometimes their output just happens to be dangerously incorrect. There have been many reminders of the fact that these AI models do not replace subject matter expertise, and that in the end the user is responsible for ensuring that no consequential errors follow from using AI output without critical review. Some AIs show "thinking ..." on the screen while they are processing data. But they are not really properly thinking. Proper thinking is much more complex than what they can do currently. This is not to say that our current AI technology is not useful - it is very useful in many cases. But, importantly - caveat emptor!
