If A.I makes the earths economy obsolete, the next step is to move out of Earth into space. Humans will be sent to colonize space and terraform other planets, while the Elites will enjoy the earth. Earth will become like a 7 star resort/nature reserve, thats very expensive to live in, while the rest of the peasent class humans seek their fortunes on other planets, by going there on ships to work, especially in heavy polluting industries.
