the brush comparison is just stupid. but the camera one has some merit... using the camera to capture a moment only take one click of a button. in this way, AI generated images take the same time to be made. When you use AI to make a base image and then tweak it further is the same process as photo-editing. I'm sorry, but "AI art" is the same thing as "camera-art". Taking a selfie with your phone and claiming it as art has the same basis and typing one line in the image generator and calling it "AI art". it is the iterative afterwork that makes it actual art. I'd love to see people understand that AI is simply another tool to use and not the devil in material form. and there is actual AI ART out there. using the image generation process to create new types of art pieces. e.g.:
